Who we are

The 00 Challenge app is run by PLANAJOB LTD, Office 1782, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom, as part of Orbitmatic. We are responsible for the details you give the app.

Before you sign up

Practice needs nothing from you: play as much as you like. Your goes and your best time stay on your phone only.

What we keep when you sign up

  • your name, email address, country and postcode, and your phone number if you give it (it is optional);
  • if you use Continue with Apple, the name and email Apple shares with us (you can choose to hide your email, and Apple then gives us a private relay address) and the anonymous Apple account number that lets you get your card back on a new phone;
  • the rough point of your postcode (from postcodes.io), to work out which shops are near you;
  • how many goes you have had, your closest last shot to 10.00 and how many rounds you have won;
  • whether you said yes to hearing about shops and offers near you;
  • whether you play on iPhone or Android, and when you last opened the app.

If you tap Use my location, the app uses your phone's location on your phone only, to sort places by distance. It is never sent to us or anyone else. Without it, places near you are worked out from your postcode.

We do not use your contacts, camera or advertising identifier, and the app has no tracking or ad networks in it.

Why

To run your account and show you the shops near you that run the 10-second challenge at their counter. If you said yes to offers, we may email or text you about those shops and their offers. You can say no at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link. We never sell your details.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon) store it for us. We never sell your details.

Some shops run their own challenge in the app. Before you play one, you see that shop's terms. When you play it, that shop gets your name, email and phone number (if you gave one) and whether you said yes to its updates. It uses them to honour your prize and bookings, and to send you its news and offers only if you said yes. You can play without saying yes to updates, and you can stop a shop's updates at any time by replying STOP or using its unsubscribe link.

Playing at a business

When you play a business's challenge we keep each go (the date, whether it was your free go of the day or a go from scanning again, and how close the round came to winning, shown only as the shop's closest miss of the week, without your name). If you win, we keep the time you stopped the clock, your one-time win code, and when and by which member of staff it was checked at the till. That business sees your first name and last initial when it checks your code. The rules are in the official rules.

Points, boards and the wins feed

We keep your nickname, avatar, points, practice award history and verified shop wins. Your nickname, avatar, points and shop wins are shown publicly on the boards and wins feed unless you turn "Show me on the boards" off. With this turned off, the wins feed describes you only as "A player". Your real name and contact details are not shown there.

We review reports within 24 hours and delete them 90 days after review. Blocks stay until you remove them or delete your account. Reports and blocks, together with your profile, points and badges, are deleted with your account. Reported names are hidden immediately and reviewed within 24 hours.

Suggesting a place

If you suggest a place for the challenge, we keep the name, area and link you give, and link them to your player card if you have one, so we can contact that business.

Paying a business

Some businesses offer to book and pay for a service in the app. Payment happens on Stripe's secure page, run for the business by Net Access Market Ltd. Stripe handles your card; we never see your card details. We receive your name, email, phone number and what you paid for, so the business can honour your booking.

Delete your account

In the app, open PLACES and tap Delete my account. Your player card, goes, wins and win codes are deleted from our database straight away. A shop you played at keeps the copy of your details it received as its own customer record; ask that shop, or us, and it is deleted too. You can also email pm@netaccessmarketing.com and we will do it for you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact us at pm@netaccessmarketing.com.
