Official rules

The shop challenges in the 00 Challenge app are run by PLANAJOB LTD, Office 1782, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom (the promoter), the developer of the app, together with each participating business, which provides and gives its own prize.

Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, the 00 Challenge or its prizes in any way.

No purchase or payment is needed to play or to win. Buying or booking anything never gives extra goes or a better chance of winning. Practice in the app, away from a business, has no prizes.

Anyone in the United Kingdom with a free 00 Challenge player card. Players under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission. Staff of a participating business can't win that business's prize.

• Scan the QR code shown at the business. It opens that business's challenge in the app.
• Accept the business's terms. Saying yes to its news and offers is optional: you can play either way.
• Every scan of the business's QR code gives you one go. Your first go of the day at each business is free (London time).
• Staff may let you scan again for another go, at the business's own choice. Extra goes are never given in exchange for a review, and a business may limit them.

It is a game of skill. Each business picks one of two games:

• 10.00: stop the clock on exactly 10.00 seconds (to the hundredth). The clock disappears after 3 seconds.
• 3 x 00: take three shots; any shot on a whole second (.00) from 5.00 to 10.00 wins.

Our server checks every win: that the go was yours, at that business, in its game, and that the result wins. A checked win shows a six-character win code in the app.

• The prize is the one shown for that business in the app, for example the whole bill free at a barber.
• Show your win code to the business's staff within 30 days. It is the record of your win, and each code works once. Without a valid code there is no prize.
• The prize is given by the business, in person. It can't be swapped for cash or passed to someone else. If it can't be given, the business may give something of equal or greater value.

Points have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold or transferred, never buy goes and never change the odds. No purchase is necessary. PLANAJOB LTD runs the challenge. Apple is not a sponsor and is not involved.

The boards show your nickname, avatar, points and shop wins unless you turn "Show me on the boards" off. The week resets Monday at 00:00 London time. You can report names and block players. Reported names are hidden at once and reviewed within 24 hours.

Wins made by changing the app, using more than one player card, or any other unfair method don't count, and their codes are cancelled. If something goes wrong with the app or our server, we may cancel the affected goes.
